Hotel Mangalam - Bhuj

We spent one night here with family and felt safe on the property. There’s room to take a stroll in the evening, and the rooms were clean and very spacious. The restaurant handled our no-salt food requirement, and there are also two cafes for tea, coffee, and snacks, plus a bakery on site. Lots of food stalls are just across from the hotel. The staff were excellent, and it’s a great location. Definitely worth a visit in Bhuj.

The cancellation request was made as soon as my minor child was diagnosed with a stomach infection, well before check-in. I sent the doctor’s prescription and medical records and asked only to change the dates, not for a cash refund. Even after MakeMyTrip supported and escalated the request, the hotel would not offer a date change, credit note, or partial adjustment. I understand cancellation rules, but the complete lack of empathy during a genuine medical emergency involving a child was extremely disappointing. Families travelling with kids should know this property applies its policies very rigidly, even when circumstances can’t be avoided.

My brother was visiting from Russia for the first time and thought the place felt like heaven on earth. We had a great meal at Saffron for my engagement anniversary. The staff recognized the occasion, and management gave us a complimentary brownie. Mr. Saurab, the hotel staff captain, made the visit a lovely experience.

Our stay was ruined here. The staff were uncooperative and didn’t listen to what guests were asking for, and they lied openly. The food was poor quality and expensive. This was the most disgusting place I’ve stayed in Bhuj.
