Hotel Sabharwal Inn

You can say hello to people in the next compound from the toilet. The rooms are cramped, the bathroom is dirty and unhealthy, service is bad, and the AC barely works. Worst hotel ever... do go.

The attached bar lounge adds a convenient option for relaxing. The rooms at Sabharwal Inn are roomy and comfortable, with both AC and non-AC choices, and the price is reasonable. A satisfying stay if you want comfortable accommodation without spending too much.

There’s no restaurant, and the rooms are very basic. The price isn’t fixed, so you’ll need to bargain. I paid Rs 1500 for a nonAC triple beded room for 24 hours, which is how they calculate the stay. Since I arrived at 11 pm, my booking ran until 11pm the next day. They offered an airport taxi, which makes sense given the hotel’s location, but the ride cost Rs 1100.

We ended up here in a hurry after our first hotel had no room, and we didn’t have time to choose somewhere else. Our cheaper room was awful: dirty, with bedbugs, a used bar of soap in the bathroom, and a toilet in terrible shape. The small barred windows made it feel like a prison. Staff were friendly, but that didn’t make up for the room. Maybe the more expensive rooms are better, but I’d stay elsewhere in Bangalore.
