The Garden Asia Resort - Mysore Road

The high nightly price didn’t match the poor service we got. We had one of our worst hospitality experiences, starting as soon as we arrived. Staff weren’t welcoming or courteous, and simple requests were ignored or delayed without explanation. The dining area was dirty and poorly maintained, and the restaurant seemed extremely unhygienic. There were no proper arrangements for food, and staff even refused to take our order. Reception was no help either: the team seemed unsure about basic questions, didn’t guide us, and weren’t willing to assist. When we brought these problems to the manager, he shouted at us and threatened to make us leave immediately instead of trying to resolve anything. That was rude and unprofessional. The experience didn’t justify even a fraction of the cost. I’d strongly advise people to think twice before booking, given the lack of basic hospitality and the disrespectful treatment.

We enjoyed the food, which had good taste and variety, and the location gave us lovely views across the resort. Every request was handled promptly. The bathroom layout needs work: the toilet is immediately visible when you open the door. Management also handled the New Year celebrations poorly. We were guests playing loud music after 3 AM, and complaints from other rooms brought the manager in. That interrupted the festive mood, especially after we’d travelled a long way for the occasion.

The pool and outdoor activities made the stay more fun, and there was a good range of food at the restaurant, including Indian and continental dishes. Garden Asia Resort was peaceful, with clean surroundings and lots of greenery, and felt like a nice weekend escape near Bengaluru. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with modern amenities. Staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help. It seems suitable for families, friends, or corporate outings. A lovely mix of nature, comfort, and hospitality, and I’d recommend it if you want to relax away from the city.

I was unsure at first because of the reviews, but for the price I thought the stay was really good. The swimming pool and food get 10/10 from me, and our room was very clean. There’s a nice lounge and outdoor games for kids, though some of the games are broken. We had fun, and it’s hard to find so many amenities at such an affordable price. The hotel was clean and hygienic, so don’t let the bad reviews put you off.
