Hotel Adarsh by OYO Rooms

A horrible stay. The rooms were dirty, with broken windows and soiled bedsheets, and no one seemed to care. When I asked for fresh sheets, they said the existing ones were clean, as if I couldn’t see for myself. It felt quite unsafe for couples, with clear glass around the place covered with newspaper. I paid 550 for one night, and anything more would be a waste of money. It’s very remote, so getting a taxi or auto can be difficult and expensive unless you have your own transport.

This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. There are no real facilities, staff are often absent, and both the owner and staff are rude. The exposed lock housing made it seem easy to break into our room, and there were no safety deposit boxes. Hot water kept running out. The bathroom had no window or extractor fan, so it stayed misty after a shower and smelly after using the toilet. Dust had settled everywhere and came back even after we wiped it with baby wipes. Under the bed was filthy, with dirt and dust that looked like the cleaner had missed it. The bedsheets were dusty too. When we asked Mr. Honey, the owner, to change them, he said, “Well, the cleaner has finished, who’s going to do it? If you are not happy, leave my hotel.” It seems like a place where couples go for enjoyment.

Room was clean, the location was perfect, and the receptionist was very good and behaved well. Staff behaviour was good too. I’d suggest this hotel to every couple, the best one, always.

The staff and facilities were superb. It’s in a great city location, with a restaurant, park, river view, and juice shop all within walking distance.
