The service wasn’t good, although the location is good.

Rooms are pretty good, and I paid 320 for one night. Prices vary by room, but they’re less than 400 rs per night. It’s easy to reach from the main road, and there’s adequate vehicle parking. You can see parts of the Dhauladhar range from this rest house. Food room service for guests isn’t available.

There’s lots of space around the place, and it’s pretty close to the jungles of Bir. But it seems to be meant only for families of government officials. They’d apparently rather leave rooms empty than let other people stay. Pretty snooty, to say the least.
