That short, thrilling five-minute boat ride across the mighty Brahmaputra was a highlight, and the island has ancient temples to see too. The resort sits in a wonderfully calm, quiet spot, and visiting was a great experience. Director Dr Kishore Hazarika and his wife have made a great contribution to tourism. My best wishes to them.

The rooms are spacious and well kept, and the food was delicious. I'd especially recommend the fresh fish. It takes about an hour to explore the island, which feels completely secluded. The boat from Biswanath ghat takes around ten minutes, and nights are especially peaceful and quiet. Service could use a little improvement.

The main drawback for me was the poor parking at the Ghat, and they should give that some attention. Otherwise, the food is very good, especially the fish, and the resort is a lovely place for any occasion, set in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. You have to take a boat from Biswanath Ghath to get there.

The view outside is lovely, and the food is delicious. It's a nice resort and restaurant, and not too expensive. If you're visiting biswanath ghat, Green Aashiyana is a lovely place to stop by. You'll have a wonderful experience.

Very disappointing. There was no proper food, just veg chowmin and tea. They charge 20 rs at the entrance, which makes no sense. Only nibbas might like a place like this.
