The staff were rude when I raised problems with the service and cleanliness, instead of dealing with the complaint professionally. The room itself was extremely unhygienic, with hair everywhere, a dirty, poorly maintained washroom, and so many mosquitoes that I couldn’t rest properly. Breakfast was a huge letdown, limited and poor quality. The papaya was tasteless and so hard it was difficult to chew. A terrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

We planned to stay for three nights but left after one. The only good thing was the location near the town center. Our room was very dirty, with stained sheets, lots of mould, and mosquitoes, and the front desk staff weren’t helpful when we tried to use the laundry service.

Google Maps has the hotel on the wrong side of the road. It’s actually across from the marked location. The property is under Bihar tourism development corporation and has a large site, with two room blocks and a separate restaurant block. Rooms are spacious and have all amenities, and the restaurant is beautiful. Staff were courteous and helpful, and it’s good value. The toilet seat had stains, as if it hadn’t been scrubbed regularly.

The property is huge but hasn’t been maintained properly. On the plus side, the location is very good, with all the temples within walking distance. Restaurant staff gave very good service, and the food was tasty and decently priced. They could accommodate special requests. The front desk staff, though, were expressionless.
