The food was the part that made the stay memorable. The chef served me the signature Litti Chokha, a Bihar specialty, and it was fresh, full of flavor, and one of the best I’ve had. They told me it would take about 40 minutes to prepare, which I was glad to wait for. I was traveling toward Kohima after several days on the road, and the calm setting was a welcome break. The pathways to the rooms pass water features set across the grounds, and the decor feels thoughtful and peaceful. The team greeted me warmly and stayed attentive throughout. If you’re traveling through this region, I’d recommend stopping here, even if you’re heading farther toward places like Lucknow. It made for a memorable, restful stay.

The hospitality and food were outstanding, and the rooms were luxurious and comfortable. Marasa Sarovar Premiere has elegant European-style architecture and well-maintained all-weather AC. The property is magnificent, likely among the finest hotels in Bihar and Jharkhand, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bodh Gaya.

Breakfast had a good mix of South Indian, North Indian, and continental food. As a South Indian, I especially liked the tomato chutney, even more than the kind I’ve had at premium hotel chains. We stayed for a couple of days and really enjoyed it. The rooms were spacious for the price, and the Mahabodhi temple was about a 10-minute trip away.

The restaurant staff were so polite and attentive, and they looked after us throughout our meals. We especially enjoyed the food. During our puja, we needed Jain food for one day, and the team made it with care. It tasted great and made that part of the stay feel special. Marasa Sarovar Premiere is a beautiful resort with well-kept rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s easy to spend a relaxing day there, enjoying a meal and the calm surroundings. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend both the hotel and its dining.

The food was very tasty, with a satvik option, and the service was wonderful, especially from MR.SURAJ and MR. AVINASH. It’s an excellent place to stay, and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly. One disappointment: we asked for coffee in our room at 6am before leaving on the 26th, but it wasn’t served 😔
