Hotel Ananda

We found small cockroaches on the dining room floor while eating, and the floor itself was extremely dirty. I complained, but nobody came to clean it. Service was very slow and nothing seemed properly managed. The food wasn't good either. I hope management takes cleanliness and customer service more seriously.

Breakfast was good, and the first day's Hi Tea was nice too. The second day's Hi Tea wasn't, since we had asked earlier. The coffee tasted watered down. Our MakeMyTrip booking was already made, but on arrival we still waited over an hour for a proper room allocation. Nobody even offered water, tea, or coffee while we waited. Staff seemed busy dealing with other complaints, which makes sense if the property isn't being maintained. We ran into the same problem again later. The service was below par, with unprofessional staff and TV and cable connection issues throughout the first day. The staff didn't seem to care.

I booked three nights through MMT, where the room was listed as 120 sq ft, but the one I got was much smaller, around 80-90 sq ft at best. It felt cramped as soon as I walked in. There was no proper place for luggage either. The room was in very poor condition, with pan masala stains on the walls and a dirty sofa. Cleanliness was far below an acceptable standard. I contacted the MakeMyTrip team, but they couldn't sort it out. The receptionist Rishi told me to cancel the booking, then said a refund wasn't possible when I asked. That felt unfair and unprofessional. A terrible stay, with a room that didn't match its description and extremely poor customer service. I don't recommend this hotel.

I stayed for one day, and they checked me out without telling me. When I went to say I wanted to stay another day, the reception staff refused, saying my room booking hadn't been confirmed for two days and I'd already been checked out. They said that's how the hotel does things. The reception person's behaviour was very bad.
