The rooms were decent, and the staff treated us satisfactorily. Hygiene was the problem: the blankets are reused between guests without covers. They should provide clean covers and change them after each stay.

The staff at Hotel Bashundhara made things easy from check-in through check-out. They were polite, quick to help, and handled requests smoothly. The hotel itself is clean and well kept, with a homely feel. It’s quiet and comfortable, a nice place to unwind after a busy day. I can see it working for either a work trip or a holiday, since it offers a good mix of comfort and convenience. I’d recommend staying here.

The deluxe room was fairly good for the price, but the hygiene was unacceptable. We learned at checkout that the blankets we’d used in December had no covers and, as reception staff openly confirmed, weren’t cleaned every day. That left us extremely disgusted.

The bed was awful and noisy, even though the room itself was good. Food was just okay.

A lovely family place to stay. The friendly manner and the hotel’s old Bonedibari feel really come through.
