The location wasn’t good, and the cramped rooms had no ventilation. Sometimes you might have to leave the door open to get a bit of fresh air. Cleanliness was satisfactory, provided you bring your own bedding accessories.

The sheets were old, stained and covered in hair, and they weren’t changed after people checked out. The photos look nice, but the service was poor. The TV and intercom didn’t work, and the fan switches were broken. There’s no restaurant, so they get food from another hotel and ask for payment in advance each time. I had to pay for the room before check-in and for dinner right after eating. Cash and card are available. I wouldn’t suggest Ganesh Bhavan Hotel to an executive looking for peace after a full day’s work. This was my first and last visit to this poor hotel. They just cheat people.

Small rooms, unhelpful staff, poor service and amenities that either didn’t work or were in bad shape. I’ve never had such a bad stay anywhere in India or abroad. I wonder if the positive reviews were paid for, because this place doesn’t deserve even one star. Not recommended at all.

The room smelled awful, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the telephone was dead. When we complained, staff didn’t respond. We also asked for a fresh bedsheet and were told none were available. I’d booked the rooms in advance through MakeMyTrip, but when I arrived early in the morning, the receptionist said there was no room and I’d have to wait until 11. Somehow they arranged one, but charged RS 570 for early check-in. They don’t know how to behave with a lady. Horrible experience, and I’ll never recommend this hotel.
