The pool at the place where I stayed didn’t even have water. Room upkeep is really poor, and some rooms I saw looked like an old haunted place. It’s budget friendly compared with other places, but I still don’t think it’s a good choice. This is only a lodge, not a resort. The bathroom flush at least worked properly, thank goodness. I wouldn’t recommend it to women staying alone, since the nights around the area don’t feel very safe.

The listing pictures seem out of date and don’t show the property as it is now. Hygiene was a big issue: the rooms weren’t looked after properly, and the general cleanliness was poor. Neglected basic maintenance made the stay uncomfortable. The hotel fell well short of expectations and management needs to improve the upkeep and cleanliness.

The rooms are spacious, and the place has a laid-back feel with a nice pool area that feels calm and holiday-like. Colonia De Braganza Resort is also well placed for getting to nearby beaches and markets. It’s a comfortable, affordable base near the main attractions. Service can be slow, though, and the interiors could use better maintenance.

A good budget stay, with spacious rooms and good service. Calangute beach is just 700mtr away. The building is a bit old and could use some maintenance.

It’s affordable, but the place isn’t maintained very well. I’d say it suits bachelors who are on a very tight budget.
