Deep Residency

The location is very good, but the owners’ behavior made the place awful. Their language and conduct were third class, and the terms and conditions weren’t clear. I felt they were taking too much money and being fraudulent. The rooms were very bad, with an unmaintained bathroom and water leaking from the AC. I was highly disappointed. It wasn’t worth it.

The hotel is near Calangute beach, and I had a great experience there. The rooms were clean and had all the facilities I needed. The management provided good service, and bike and car rentals were available too. It made my trip more special.

The food is average, with no standout specialty on the menu. You can order sea fish as well as traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, but both are made in the same kitchen and there isn’t a separate section for veg and non-veg. The small restaurant and bar are in a non-AC space with decor that could be better. It wasn’t very crowded, and the customer restroom was tiny and not very clean. The restaurant is down a narrow, poorly maintained lane from the main road, about a three-minute drive away. There’s no car park, so you have to use the adjacent lane. It’s in a congested lane leading to Calangute beach. It can serve when you can’t find a good option nearby, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

The rooms are large, and there’s hot water around the clock. It’s a nicely renovated place near Calangute beach, but the service to the rooms wasn’t very good. There’s no elevator, so the stairs could be difficult for children and older people to use often. Parking fits about five or six cars, and the lane is so narrow that two cars or SUVs have trouble passing each other.
