Fabhotel Peninsula Beach Resort

I had the worst experience at Peninsula resorts in Goa. They charged 4200 for one night, and I wouldn't say it was worth even 1500. The pool was dirty and full of chlorine, and kids got allergies. The garden and staircase were filthy too. There are paid reviews, so don't book this room. The cleaning was pathetic, and the room was in poor condition. The curtains were dirty and torn, and even after several complaints nothing improved. The bathroom still wasn't cleaned after I complained, the balcony had AC wastewater in it, and the bed wasn't even queen size. Staff ignored guest complaints. The owner may be used to living in filth, since nobody seems to care about cleaning. I couldn't find an option to upload photos as proof, but I'll post them on another portal.

We were four friends visiting Goa and booked Peninsula Beach Resort, but the stay was a letdown. Garbage was lying around the hotel grounds and cottage area, and a lot of it looked unhygienic, so the surroundings weren't pleasant. Staff behavior wasn't up to expectations either. The food was average, neither especially good nor especially bad. We didn't like the hotel at all.

The room wasn't even supplied with basics like towels, water, or a toothbrush. We had to call the waiter each time, and he came when he felt like it. At dinner, the food was average, the non-veg dishes were set apart by a washbasin, and 6 to 7 cats roamed around the dining area. This hotel shouldn't be rated 3-star. There was no basic hygiene or maintenance, and we weren't welcomed with a drink or even a greeting. Staff wanted the balance payment before showing us the rooms. The cupboards had no doors and the lights kept flickering. We changed rooms, but it was just as bad. Rats roamed in the room at night, and there were cockroaches in the lobby.

The staff were rude whenever we asked for anything. Instead of helping, they used abusive language and gaalis. Guests are treated very badly here, and the behavior was shocking and unprofessional. The rooms weren't clean and service was poor. Complaints got no proper response, and management didn't seem to care. This was a terrible, disrespectful experience. It doesn't feel safe or comfortable for families, and I'd strongly advise people to avoid the hotel.
