Paradise Peak Cottage

Sitting outside in the cool evening breeze and taking in the scenery was a highlight of our short Kotagiri getaway. The cottage is surrounded by hills and greenery, with beautiful valley views and mist settling over the mountains in the morning. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the quiet setting made it easy to relax. The welcoming staff helped make the stay pleasant. We’d recommend Paradise Peak Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic place in the Kotagiri area.

For two days, Paradise Peak Cottage gave us just the peaceful break we wanted. The rooms were clean and comfortable, food was delicious, and you can see beautiful viewpoints right from the rooms. The property is easy to reach, and the friendly staff are available 24/7.

The view gets a 20/10, but hygiene and service were disappointing. We visited in early May, and the balconies off the first-floor rooms had amazing views. Our rooms had cockroaches, though, and we kept bumping our feet against sharp glass edges on the beds, scraping the skin. Food comes in generous portions if ordered, but it’s basic home cooking and takes a while, so order well ahead.

We stayed one night with family, and the hotel was affordable, calm, and pleasant. It’s 18 km from town, and that distance helps make the stay peaceful. The nearby Kodanad View point is walkable, and there are two tasty, affordable eateries close by. There’s also a lovely sit-out behind the hotel with a mesmerizing view. The hotel and rooms have excellent views, and every room has its own balcony, which is rare. Our room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities. Parking space was sufficient. The food we ordered was very tasty, though the campfire charge is very high. The room doors list numbers to call with requests. There was only one service receptionist at the hotel all day, but service never fell short.
