Hotel Roma DX

We paid for the room, but the staff treated us as if they barely cared whether we were guests. We couldn't get into our room until 1:30 PM, and during our three days there it was never cleaned. On day one, nobody offered even a glass of water, and we weren't given towels, soap, or other basics. There was dust everywhere, no laundry service or cleaning, and we didn't feel safe. Whisky bottles were left under the bed. There was no wardrobe or TV, and termites were crawling over the wooden doors. The rooms had no ventilation and felt like storage spaces, with a smoky smell throughout. The bathrooms were rusty; I assume the hotel's water tank hasn't been cleaned in ages. When I asked the manager for some cooperation, he said, "You should have booked a 5 Star instead if you want such facilities." I replied that we'd paid for the room and weren't staying for free. The staff even argued with women. Shameless people. I booked through GoIbibo. If refunds had been available after check-in, I would've left that same day. They also seem to favor groups and walk-in guests. People booking the same room category through sites like make my trip or goibibo get worse rooms, while direct guests get better service because they pay more. They don't know basic courtesy. This was the worst hotel experience I've had, and I'll remember it for the rest of my life.
