The floors outside our room stayed wet after the rain, and even after we asked, nobody cleaned them, leaving them to dry on their own. There was nowhere to hang wet clothes, so we used a chair in the room. Other families had many complaints too, so be careful when booking. My recent family visit was the worst experience I’ve had in Mandarmani, despite staying at multiple resorts there over the years. The rooms were below standard, and the bathroom was dirty, with broken sanitary fittings, a nonworking shower, and a broken door lock. The wooden cupboard was broken too, and the window AC didn’t work properly. Staff behavior was poor, the manager wasn’t involved, and when we raised issues, he told us to call the owner, whose behavior was very bad. Breakfast wasn’t served properly, with only half the food available while children waited, and other families had the same experience. Food was overpriced: one piece of ordinary Katapona fish fry cost Rs 175/- and a simple tawa roti was Rs.17/-.

The breakfast with puri and curry was delicious, and the refreshing pool was a highlight. Shinjini Resort was a fantastic surprise: immaculate rooms, very friendly and attentive service, and a perfect location for a relaxing getaway. I can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed the homely, tasty food, especially the seafood, and the beach was just a short walk away, making morning and evening visits lovely. Shinjini Resort has a quiet atmosphere away from the chaos, ideal for relaxing near the beach. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, with the basics needed for a short stay. What stood out most was the genuinely warm, helpful staff, always ready to assist with a smile. It’s a cozy, budget-friendly place where you feel cared for, and I’d visit again.

The rooms were dirty, food was tasteless and expensive, and water leaked from the bathroom pipes all day. There were three double beds but only one charging point. I was also shocked when they asked for 2,000 because a small hole had appeared in a plastic table after hookah charcoal fell on it. Why let guests smoke hookah at a plastic table? The whole stay was very harassing. I won't go back, and would advise checking carefully before visiting.

The view from the pool was lovely, and the beach is only about a two-minute walk away. I enjoyed the stay, and the resort was clean. The food could have been better, though.
