Sonar Bangla Resort

The pool was the highlight for our group, with music on the speakers they provided creating a great vibe. We also enjoyed the food: the veg thali for ₹150 and fish thali for ₹210 were tasty and affordable, and the fish fry and tea were great. Service was good, and the staff were friendly and cooperative. I stayed at Sonar Bangla Resort Mandarmani from 1st May to 3rd May 2026 with five friends, and it was a really enjoyable short getaway. There was no WiFi, though, and the occasional power cut was inconvenient.

The best part was the food, along with how nicely everyone working there treated us. The resort is close to both the beach and the market. The rooms were good, the swimming pool was awesome and probably the most fun spot on the property, and they even have their own vegetable garden.

It's a serene, uncrowded spot that felt peaceful and good for relaxing. The food was exceptional across all the items we tried. We were very impressed with our stay, had a delightful experience, and would gladly recommend the resort.

Staff were well behaved, and the food prices were reasonable. The rooms were good but need more maintenance. They also need to take care of the pathway leading to the beach, as it isn't maintained.
