Viceroy Beach & Spa Resort

The property felt isolated, far from the main road, and the room was poorly maintained and uncomfortable for the price. What disappointed me most was the view: for somewhere marketed as a beach-view hotel, there was no proper beach view, just an unimpressive sight that didn’t feel like the experience I’d paid for. The photos and description had set very different expectations. The atmosphere was underwhelming, and the stay felt like a waste of money. Mandarmani has better-located options with superior rooms and actual beach views. I regret booking here and wouldn’t recommend it for a relaxing beach vacation.

The grounds are lovely, with plenty of sitting areas, a large property for evening strolls, and exclusive parking. There’s a gaming room with carom, table tennis, chess, and billiards, plus a beautiful, well-maintained pool. The beach is only a two-minute walk away, and the food was great too. We had a wonderful time. The staff were polite, professional, and focused on service. I highly recommend visiting.

I found visibly dirty drinking water in my room, which felt unsafe. I told the staff right away, but this kind of negligence is unacceptable. At a 4-star hotel, basic hygiene and guest safety shouldn’t be compromised. Guests pay for comfort, cleanliness, and safety, not contaminated water. Management needs to improve its quality checks and hygiene standards. I hope nobody else has to deal with the same thing.

The food was my favorite part. The chef did a great job catering to everyone’s tastes. I also liked the spacious, clean room, the amazing view, and the staff’s polite behavior. I’d love to visit Viceroy again.
