Tarangamala Resort

I stayed in the new building with my mother, sister, and aunt. We felt safe as women, and nobody disturbed us. Everyone was cooperative and the staff treated us very well. The location and view were great, and the resort lets you enjoy the sea view. The food was especially tasty, particularly ali posto. Thanks to Sanjay da and the team for being such lovely hosts. I’d recommend staying here when you visit Mandarmani.

The property felt quiet and under-equipped, and even the staff and their behavior left a lot to be desired. There were only a few guests around, with no music or atmosphere, and our room wasn’t clean. The pool was dirty, and the path from the resort to the beach was cluttered with sea debris. It felt as if the place had been through some shock and was still trying to recover. We couldn’t enjoy our stay. There are many good resorts beside this property, so I’d ask visitors to look at other options.

We stayed 2-3 days at the New Tarangamala. The rooms have good sea views and the ambiance is great, but the food is awful. On our first day, they served foul-smelling chicken and fish. The staff were arrogant, and so was the FEMALE MANAGER. Room service seems to be just for show. Nobody answers at the kitchen or front desk. The experience was so bad that my family went to eat at the old Tarangamala restaurant, where the food quality is still holding up. I urge everyone to stay at the new place but eat at the old Tarangamala. Someone please get that female manager fired.

I’ve been back more than 10 times, and returning here feels like an emotion. It’s affordable and peaceful, highly recommended if that’s what you want. Don’t come expecting a crazy vibe. Lunch and tea are awesome as always, but the evening snacks and dinner keep disappointing us. Also, be ready with your order for the next meal.😂
