Shanti seaview resort and spa

Housekeeping could use some attention. The bathroom lights didn’t work and weren’t repaired during our stay, water pressure was very poor, toiletries were below par, and there was no shower gel. Still, the big, well-kept pool and the sea view rooms with their lovely views of the clean beach were highlights. Ajay, Santu, and Raju gave great service, and Sharmishtha at the front desk was polite and accommodating. Prabir Giri also took good care of my mother, who has mobility issues. The restaurant food was delicious, though a bit pricey, and it’s a great resort for a weekend staycation.

We felt well looked after, especially thanks to Santu. He was professional, friendly, quick to help, and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The staff’s outstanding service made our visit to Shanti Seaview Resort and Spa, Mandarmani memorable. The resort was well managed, with a relaxing atmosphere and delicious food. Our spacious, clean, well-kept room had a beautiful view and the amenities we needed. It’s a short walk from the beach, so we enjoyed peaceful sunrises and the sea breeze. A comfortable, scenic spot for a quiet break or a trip with family and friends. I’d highly recommend it, and look forward to coming back.

The breakfast spread was decent, there’s plenty of parking, and the property has its own private beach access. The rooms are well maintained and the service is worth the somewhat high price. Food quality could be better, though that may just be our personal preference and others might enjoy it. We’ve stayed here several times and will likely keep coming back. It’s a quiet, friendly hotel on Mandarmani beach, with lovely sea views from the balconies. Debashish and the whole service team, including dining and housekeeping, deserve a mention for their excellent hospitality. I’d recommend it for a quiet personal break by the beach. If your idea of relaxing is loud music, lots of alcohol, and cheap company, this probably isn’t the place for you.

The rooms and food are good, but the name is a clue: this is a sea view resort, not really a sea resort. The restaurant is set back inside, so there’s nowhere by the shore to sit in the morning or evening with a snack and enjoy the view. During my stay, there also weren’t any facilities set up near the beach. I hope they add some in the future. Nearby resorts with restaurants right by the sea might suit you better.
