Santiniketan Hotel & Resorts

We arrived early, around 4.20 am, and the staff and security guard handled everything well and arranged an Auto for us. Everyone was cooperative and kind. Our Deluxe Ac room on the 1st floor was clean, with a nice bathroom and a balcony with a side sea view. The resort’s location right on the beach was as expected, and the food was tasty, hygienic, and within budget. I even tried the baby food at breakfast, Khichdi (khichuri) with boiled potatoes, beans, and carrots, and it was delicious, so don’t worry about food if you’re travelling with a baby. The kids’ play area and other child-friendly amenities were great, and the swimming pool was clean and top-notch. Thanks for making the trip so special. I’ll definitely come back again and again.

We’ve been back to this resort several times, and each visit has been satisfying. The location is excellent, the hospitality is great, and the food is delicious and good value.

We had a great weekend here. The dining area was well kept and had room for many families, the food was delicious, and the service was great. Our room had a balcony where we could watch the sea waves, plus clean, spacious interiors, comfortable couches, and beds with clean sheets. The bathroom was clean too. The hygienic pool area suited families with young kids. A good option for a luxurious stay within budget.

For the room price, I expected basic things like an electric kettle and tea kit, but neither was provided. Service was very slow too: tea requested at 7:00 AM arrived around 8:00 AM, and although we placed our dinner order in the evening, it wasn’t served until close to 11:00 PM after we asked again around 9:30 PM. I visited Shantiniketan Hotel a few days ago and was very disappointed. It has around 40 rooms but seemed to have fewer than 10 staff, which badly affected service. Given what they charge, the experience was highly disappointing.
