Sher Bengal Beach Resort

The property is good and the location is excellent, and the hospitality was very good. But we stayed in premium room 1001 for two days, and the washroom wasn’t clean. We told housekeeping but didn’t get proper service. Nobody changed the bedsheets, so we had to stay with the same ones.

The rooms were comfortable, the food excellent, and room service prompt and well managed during our lovely stay at Sher Bengal Resort. Samiran was especially efficient and helpful throughout, with professional, quick support. I’d recommend it for a pleasant, relaxing visit.

We went as five friends and had a very good time. Mr Swapan Bera looked after us and was helpful with every part of our stay. The staff were cooperative, and the food, room service, pool service, and overall ambience were all satisfactory. I’d definitely return and recommend it to family and friends. We spent three days and two nights at Sher Bengal Beach resort with family, in a side sea view room. The beach was a short walk away, lively and pleasant, and we enjoyed evening strolls in the breeze. The property was beautiful and spacious, though fully packed with visitors. There was ample parking, a small kids’ park with cute hammocks, ground-floor cottages that could suit senior citizens, lawn seating, and a separate sea-facing area for meals and lounging, lovely for stargazing and moon bathing. The pool had a small water park, plenty of seating, and a bar and snacks area. There was also a spa we didn’t use, a small gaming room cum gym, and the place is pet friendly. Our room was spacious, with a big bathtub. Some things need attention. There’s no elevator, and our second-floor room made the stairs tiring, so it may not suit senior citizens. The pool changing room and washroom smelled bad and need maintenance. Service was fast, but the food was so-so. Breakfast was the worst meal: the buffet felt rushed and tasteless, and we didn’t enjoy the spread. The gaming area should be bigger, and the rooms and washrooms need more upkeep. We went in peak season, so service may have been affected. Still, people come for quality family time and memories. Better hygiene, cleanliness, and food would make this an amazing place to revisit.
