2/10
The food was poor quality and far too expensive for what we got. Noise kept disturbing our sleep, and several advertised amenities were either unavailable or didn’t work. The room smelled unpleasant, was unhygienic, and hadn’t been maintained well. Staff seemed indifferent and didn’t handle our concerns professionally. The stay was profoundly disappointing and didn’t meet even basic expectations for comfort or hospitality. It was poor value.

The food was good, and the staff were friendly and polite. It’s a budget resort in a great location, so it worked well for the price. Don’t expect grand rooms, but considering the cost and setting, it’s a good place to stay.

The food was delicious and comforting, like a homemade meal, and the owner was down-to-earth, enthusiastic, and ready to help guests at any hour. We stayed at Lake View Resort in Lataguri, Dooars during Puja, and it felt like a home away from home. The staff were exceptionally courteous, attentive, and helpful, which made the stay warm and welcoming. We’re already looking forward to coming back for our next vacation. A visit here is absolutely worth it.

The staff are polite and make you feel at home, and meeting the very humble proprietor was a pleasure. Lake View Resort may look unassuming, but it has everything we needed, from amenities and service to food. You’ll get ghorwa khabar kheye tripti paben. It’s the lion of Lataguri’s hotel industry.
