The staff were polite and humble, and the hotel had a pleasant ambience. Still, for the price, this stay didn’t feel worth it. The buffet had very little variety, and basic things like shampoo and soap dispensers were missing or didn’t work. There was no proper ventilation in the washroom, with no exhaust, even though we were assured at booking that basic facilities were available. The service also fell short. I wouldn’t recommend it if value for money matters to you.

The on-site parking was sufficient, one of the few positives during my stay at HHI Hotel, Varanasi from 8th to 10th April 2026. The property is very old and poorly maintained, with peeling paint on the doors, furniture, and walls, plus a broken door handle. It needs urgent renovation. At check-in, the room smelled strongly unpleasant. Staff said it had been locked for a while, but we had to keep the AC running constantly to deal with the odor, which was uncomfortable. Service was frustrating throughout. Drinking water took nearly 50 minutes. The in-room safe didn’t work. After two reminders, housekeeping arrived 1.5 hours later and spent another hour trying to fix it. We eventually had to leave while they were still working. Staff later came to the reception to check it, but when we said it was too late, nobody followed up or made sure it worked when we returned. I asked the bell boy to collect our luggage from the car at check-in, but he refused and said reception would handle it. The same person was later assigned the task, yet insisted I walk to the car with him in the heat. He wouldn’t take the key or open it remotely from the gate, and made no effort to help. It was highly unprofessional. The restaurant was just as disappointing. Both food and service were subpar. When we asked for fresh pooris, they brought cold ones from the buffet. We requested ginger tea and got tea that seemed to have been made much earlier, without ginger. Only after we took it up with the head chef did we get a proper cup. Wi-Fi was extremely unstable and barely worked most of the time, making even basic tasks difficult. Poor upkeep, inefficient service, and a lack of basic hospitality made this an unsatisfactory stay. I wouldn’t recommend it unless major improvements are made. I’d rather recommend an OYO hotel, at least you’ll save some money for similar services.

The meals felt premium but balanced, and there was a good variety. Given the service and quality, prices seemed reasonable and affordable for the experience. The spacious lobby was clean and beautifully designed, with modern, well-kept interiors. The hotel felt organized and professional, and the staff were polite, attentive, and helpful. Even without an overnight stay, the ambience, hospitality, and facilities made it seem like a good choice for business or leisure visitors. It combines comfort and luxury with affordability. I’d recommend Hotel Hindustan International Varanasi for meetings, events, dining, and stays.

The food was consistently delicious, well prepared, and offered plenty of variety. Breakfast and the other meals were impressive, and attentive restaurant staff made dining even better. Housekeeping kept the spacious, clean, well-maintained room spotless and organized, with a comfortable bed and the amenities needed for a relaxing visit. The team’s genuine care stood out. They were courteous, responsive, and quick to handle requests. Check-in was smooth, and everyone was warm and helpful from the moment I arrived. HHI Varanasi gave me a comfortable, memorable stay with great service. I’d highly recommend it to visitors and would happily return.
