OYO 10868 Home Villa Calangute Beach

The property was neat and well looked after, and about a 10-minute walk from the beach. The final part goes along an unpaved back road, but it’s manageable. Our rooms and the pool were clean, and the staff were generally helpful and polite. The waiters and housekeeping team were particularly friendly and attentive. One interaction took away from the stay. A friend arrived late, and since we had checked in earlier, we came in through the side entrance with the guard aware. A manager, who looked to be in his mid-30s, came over abruptly and spoke rudely, as though we’d done something wrong. It felt unnecessary and disappointing. Senior staff could use better training in dealing with guests. The property itself is nice and conveniently close to the beach. With some improvement in management’s behavior, it could easily merit five stars.

The grounds are filled with lush greenery, and the beach is 500 meters away. There’s a café on site, along with a pool for adults and children. Our room was small, but neat and comfortable. You can request a dental kit, hairdryer, and other amenities. At reception, Miss Henrita and Mr. Chandan were friendly and ready to help with questions or requests. Housekeeping worked quickly while we were at the beach or out walking. Special thanks to the kitchen team, especially Suraj and Sakib, for being attentive and helping us adjust to the local cuisine. I recommend this hotel for a visit to Goa.

The staff were especially polite and supportive, and I really liked the quiet, cosy feel among all the greenery. The rooms aren’t very spacious, but they’re enough if you want a peaceful place to stay. It’s well connected to the main market, roads, and public transport in North Goa. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and the stretch you can reach from here is calm, with restaurants and bars but no crowds around. I might choose it again for a future stay.

We spent three days here as a family and had a really pleasant stay. The food was very good, and the clean rooms came with reliable, accommodating room service. Staff were kind, prompt, and attentive.
