The location is brilliant: you can walk to Candolim beach through the resort gardens, and red lobster is a nice Shack just outside. We stayed at sonesta inn for four days, Dec 25-28, 2025. It's a peaceful resort, and our kids really liked the rooms and pool. The breakfast didn't taste very good, though. I'd recommend the resort.

After staying at a hotel in South Goa, this was a great experience. The beach is well organised and lovely for a leisure day, a walk, or sitting at one of the shacks for food and drinks. The poolside is lovely, and it's a short, convenient walk to the beach. You can walk about 4-5 km along it and enjoy a beautiful sunset. Just wonderful.

It's a really good hotel, with nice service and a location close to the beach. One frustration is that guests keep the sun loungers occupied all day, even when they only use them briefly. I can highly recommend Antony, the fantastic masseuse who lives near the hotel.

We had a horrible, distressing stay from Jan 03 -2026 to Jan 06-2026. There were live cockroaches by the bed as soon as I entered the room, which is a serious health and safety issue. I documented the pests and raised it with management, but they ignored the problem and tried to blame us. There was no cooperation from management at all. I plan to file a formal complaint with the health department and consumer protection authorities. Avoid this place at all costs, you'll thank me later.

A great spot for a family stay, with the beach an easy walk away. The rooms and swimming pool are clean and maintained, breakfast has a good range of options, and service is prompt. The location is perfect.
