The Earthen Nest

The food at this gem deep in Cotigao wild life century was delicious at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the service was so good. Ask for something and Sandy and the team would arrange it. They even organized a special birthday cake for me. The pool is right next to the rooms.

From our room we had a lovely jungle view, with the sound of the forest all around. This was a perfect nature break, and the place even had that earthy smell ☺️ We went for a morning walk and were lucky enough to spot peacocks. The staff were courteous, and Ruchika gave us a warm welcome. Dinner was fresh Chicken BBQ, served hygienically, and the complimentary breakfast had a good variety. The kids enjoyed it too. A great place to get away from noisy city life and relax ☺️

After reaching The Earthen Nest in the afternoon, our host served us warm, authentic Goan food. We rested, then walked into the Cotigao wildlife sanctuary, a paradise of streams and waterfalls. Later we ordered chicken bbq and could choose from five marinades made from their exclusive recipe. The food and overnight stay were wonderful, with night crickets and frogs as our soundtrack. The host and place were simply awesome. It felt like real village and forest life, while the clean, hygienic rooms had modern amenities like a television, refrigerator, and electric kettle.

We really enjoyed the stay, especially swimming in the pool while looking out at the forest trees. The Earthen Nest sits in a tranquil spot surrounded by dense forest. Our cosy cottage, the excellent food, and the good service all made it worthwhile. The hosts were attentive and went out of their way to get us what we needed and keep us comfortable. I’d highly recommend staying here. The whole grilled chicken and other delicacies were great.
