Candolim Suites

I’d paid for breakfast in advance, but it never came. There was no room service either, and the food was terrible for a hotel at this price. A very disappointing stay and definitely not worth the money.

My mother and her five friends had a wonderful stay at Hotel Candolim Suites. The staff took care with every detail, from a smooth check-in to useful recommendations for local travel. They were warm and attentive, and made the guests feel at home. The spacious, clean rooms were beautifully kept and had a calm, comfortable feel. Food was another highlight, with tasty Goan and international dishes tailored to dietary preferences. I highly recommend Hotel Candolim Suites for the hospitality, comfort, and service. My mother and her friends couldn’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed it.

During my family’s visit, the hotel told us to manage with one working AC in the room because the other units weren’t working, and later said to make do with just the bedroom AC in the new room. That room had a broken cupboard too. One room had no AC remote, which we asked for on the first day, but still had no help by day four. Why should guests have to manage these problems, and if we do, why is there no support or compensation?

It’s disappointing to leave a negative review as a travel agency, but one of our customers had a terrible experience. The room ACs weren’t working, there was no reception support at night, and room cleaning wasn’t available after 7 PM. They also had no arrangements for the driver, which is a basic gesture at hotels. We won’t work with Candolim suits for any future customers and will advise other agents accordingly.
