Country Inn Amp; Suites by Radisson, Goa Candolim

Breakfast had an impressive spread, and the rooms were comfortable and well maintained. We spent two days here for a business review, and the staff were supportive and very professional. Special thanks to Mr. Omkar Keni, Mr. Debashis Saha, and Ms. Rekha Boricha for the service. I’d recommend the hotel for a work trip or for time away with family and friends.

The birthday surprise arranged for us was a highlight. Mr. Amit and his team followed our request closely, and their thoughtful work made the celebration memorable. We also found the rooms clean and comfortable, the ambience excellent, and the food and service very good. Everyone was courteous and ready to help. Thanks to the whole Radisson Goa Candolim team for such a warm welcome and smooth stay. We’d happily recommend the hotel and come back. 😊

We left feeling very unhappy with this stay, and the service, rooms, and general feel didn’t match what we expected from a Radisson. We’ve stayed at the brand before. Our visit was Dec 23-25 with my wife and two-year-old, and I do want to thank Nitin, sales manager, RSO mumbai, for arranging the last-minute booking. At first, they put us in a room in one of the buildings with no view and no pleasant feel inside. It seemed more like an Oyo room than the Radisson stay we’d expected. We asked to change rooms; staff tried, but the suite they first offered still had no balcony or view. After a day, we did get a better room overlooking the pool. We also asked reception about events for children or the evening, but staff didn’t seem to know. There was live music planned, yet nobody told us. At around 10:30 pm we ordered food and drinks at the poolside bar, and were told to order from the restaurant because the bar was closing at 11. The restaurant then served dinner at 12:15 am, saying it closed at 10:30 pm. The breakfast selection was very limited and they struggled with the crowd. One coffee took 45 minutes. Around 6 am, someone rang our room bell and asked about luggage, though the request had come from our neighbor, not us. When we asked for early checkout because we were unhappy, they wouldn’t let us leave and kept us waiting two hours. This property falls short of the Radisson standard, in my view, and risks hurting the brand. Someone should take a serious interest in improving it.

Pallavi and Sonu from housekeeping made a real difference to our stay at Radisson Candolim. Pallavi was attentive and quick, kept the room spotless, and handled our requests promptly. Her friendly manner and clear communication meant we had what we needed throughout. The hotel itself has lovely decor, beautiful views, and a warm welcome, and the stay felt comfortable and relaxing from beginning to end. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway.
