Evoke Premium Candolim North Goa

The main door lock was physically damaged, so we felt completely unsafe, and the whole apartment smelled bad. The ACs and TVs in both rooms were broken. It took several calls and 45 minutes for anyone to come and look, and nothing has been fixed yet. We were four exhausted people sitting in a hot, smelly apartment with no sense of urgency from management. We'd driven 13 hours straight from Mumbai after getting no sleep the previous night. We arrived at 5:00 PM expecting an easy check-in after pre-booking and fully paying for two separate rooms for four people. Instead, we were told the rooms weren't available and pushed into a 2 BHK apartment. We reluctantly took it just so we could rest. Complete management failure. Don't book here if you value your money, safety, or peace of mind.

The photos online are totally misleading. The actual rooms aren't even 10% close to them. The whole stay felt like a waste of money and the worst hotel experience I've had. Avoid this place at all costs. The rooms and washrooms were filthy, cockroaches were everywhere, and hygiene was nonexistent. There was no AC, and when we complained we were told it wasn't included in our package, which nobody had mentioned beforehand. Staff were rude, arrogant, and no help at all. There was no service, accountability, or professionalism. They couldn't even provide basic things. We got no towel because laundry hadn't arrived, and there were no toiletries, not even a ₹2 soap.

The rooms didn't match the photos, and their quality was awful. The beds and toilets stank, with cockroaches throughout the rooms. The swimming pool smelled bad and had dirty water. The restaurant food wasn't good either. The rooms also didn't feel safe for our belongings. Staff opened and checked our luggage while we were out of the hotel room. This is one of the most useless properties.

The online listing gave a misleading impression, and the staff seemed focused on selling rooms instead of addressing guest concerns. I had a very disappointing stay at this Goa hotel. Hygiene was extremely poor: cockroaches in the room, dust all over the floor, and dirty, stained bedsheets. Basic things were missing or cost extra. There was no water bottle or towel provided, and I was told a towel would cost ₹150 per day each. TV and AC were also mentioned during booking but were only available for an additional charge. Staff seemed indifferent when I raised concerns. I'd strongly suggest avoiding this property. There are better, more reliable options nearby with basic facilities and better service.
