Golden Rice Resort

Bedsheets hadn’t been changed, and the rooms were dirty and poorly cleaned. They didn’t provide basic things like a bucket, mug, plates, glasses, or kettle, and there wasn’t even an intercom. The place doesn’t feel like a properly set up hotel. It was a terrible experience. Don’t spoil your holiday by staying here.

We stayed four days, and they didn’t clean the room even once. It was dirty when they gave it to us, and there was no AC remote, TV, hot water, or anything else. They make false promises over the phone and fool visitors. Don’t waste your money or trip here.

If all you want is to lounge by the pool, maybe this place will do. For a comfortable stay or help planning a tour, I can’t recommend it. Our room was small, damp and unclean, with bad lighting and no toiletries. The TV and toilet flush didn’t work, there was no drinking water, and many rooms apparently have no geyser, something they never mentioned. The website information was misleading.

The owner personally looks after clients, and the packages were affordable and really good. Everything felt well planned and maintained. The rooms were clean and hygienic, and the view of the swimming pool was awesome. It was the best experience I’ve had.
