The vibe was good, and the beach is within walking distance. There are plenty of souvenir shops along the same road, which is the main street and feels lively. I liked the location, though the lack of dedicated parking meant having to find a spot on the road. For a December night, I expected the room and service to match the price.

The rooms were clean when my friend and I arrived around 2 a.m. on Thursday, but the service was awful. We stayed three days, and nobody checked whether we needed water or cleaned the room. At dinner on 02.08.2024, we weren't even brought water or glasses. The rotis arrived cold, and when I complained, the staff argued with us and treated us badly. I also asked for salad, but they ignored me.

The location is handy, right on the main road opposite fisherman Cove restaurant, and the place might do better with stronger management. The rooms are tiny, with only the basics, and there’s barely space to move around. It's probably fine for a short, budget stay, especially alone. We left after two nights for somewhere better. My friend booked this based on Google reviews, but the place felt like one-star accommodation, with poorly trained staff and hardly anyone at reception beyond check-in. You have to ask them to turn on the water pressure. Their main business may be the restaurant, though we hardly saw any diners and didn't eat there. Once you know Goa, there are places across price ranges and with different amenities.

Being opposite Newton's supermarket and within walking distance of Candolim beach made the location especially convenient. The area was lively at night, and there was live singing at the hotel. We enjoyed the food at pink flamingo restaurant, and the price felt reasonable for what we got. We stayed in Villa Sol Areia from 30-Sep-22 to 04-Oct-22, taking a couple of rooms. They were compact, neat, well kept, and nicely furnished, with balconies and chairs. Manish handled the booking smoothly and was helpful throughout, and the hotel staff were polite. We were very happy with our stay.

Candolim beach, supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping centres are all nearby, since the property is right in the heart of the area. I spent three nights here with my family and found it cozy and comfortable. The rooms were neat, the linen clean, the multi-cuisine restaurant was good, and room service was excellent. I'd recommend it for a family stay in Goa.
