Sol Banyan Grande - 307

Strongly recommend this amazing 3bhk villa near Candolim beach.

Abhay helped me arrange a stay at Sol Banyan Villa even though it was outside my budget, and I ended up having an amazing time. We stayed for 6 days in the 2bhk flat tagged Mukherjee. The internet worked well for wfh, and there was a fire stick in the TV. The view of the banyan tree from the 1room and hall was lovely, with sunlight but without the heat. There was so much greenery on the 1st floor, right most 2bhk, and the pool was neat and hardly used, so it felt almost like a personal pool. The bathroom water logging was really bad and needs managing.

We booked through zondelainn.com, but the property was much worse than we expected. Don’t be taken in by the pictures and videos shown before booking. Half the things were broken or didn’t work, and the caretaker was careless and not service oriented. He just wanted more and more money. We felt cheated for what we paid. Never stay here.

The villa is in a really handy spot, about a five-minute walk from Delfino’s supermarket and ten minutes from the beach, with a taxi stand just two minutes away. It costs a little more, but I thought it was worth it and would recommend staying here. There are three bedrooms, each with good privacy, and the private pool was a decent size. AP, the full-time caretaker, was a huge help while still giving us space. I sent him to the market four times in two hours one day, and he never complained. He also drove my son to the gym and picked him up every day. Great guy.
