Hotel Chail Residency

That wood-fired pizza at the restaurant was one of the best parts of our visit, it was extremely delicious. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were prompt and helpful throughout our relaxing stay in Chail. We had a very pleasant time here.

The food was the disappointing part for us. The halwa was cooked in oil, had no dry fruits, and tasted pathetic. They charged ₹150 for a very small bowl, and the other dishes also came in small portions for their prices, so meals didn’t feel like good value. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if good food or fairly priced meals are what you’re after. The property itself was peaceful and green, with an awesome view, a nice escape from city noise for family or friends. Our room was neat, clean, and well maintained, and the location was a real plus. If cleanliness, scenery, and a quiet setting are your priorities, it’s worth considering.

The rooms were spacious and the location was good, but the water supply was a major problem. We stayed for three days and had no water in the washroom most mornings. We had to call the staff around 6-7 times to get the pump switched on. It was a very bad experience.

At first the property seemed decent, but what we noticed on the room door left us horrified. There were several tiny dot-like openings that looked decorative, yet you could see clearly into the room through them. My wife recorded it on video, and there was no obstruction at all. That’s a serious privacy and security risk for guests and the hotel if anyone were to misuse it. Management needs to address this right away. I can’t recommend staying here if you’re concerned about safety. One star.
