There are a few useful things here for a long stay: the kitchen has an induction cooktop, gas, and enough utensils apart from a chimta, and there’s an inverter for power backup. Some nearby places rent scooters, and BlinkIt and Instamart work in the area. There aren’t many shops close by, though. The bigger problems were day-to-day upkeep. The place, especially the bedsheet, was dirty when I arrived. During my month-long monsoon stay, the owner didn’t arrange cleaning and told me to pay the maid myself, at ₹300 each time. Garbage was another hassle: there’s no nearby bin, the truck doesn’t come there, and I was told to handle both wet and dry waste myself. There’s no washing machine or nearby laundry either, so I had to wash my clothes by hand and couldn’t clean the bedsheet when I needed to. Between laundry, rubbish, and arranging and paying for cleaning, I wouldn’t recommend this for a long-term stay.
