Yellow House

You can hear people talking outside and even using the toilet, since there’s no sound isolation between the walls. It gets really annoying. The rooms are basic, though the owners are lovely, helpful, and nice to chat with. Vagator beach is only 50 m away.

From 22/9/2025 to 30/9, we spent eight days at Yellow House, and it was a very pleasant stay. Jawish and Rosie ma’am are warm, simple, helpful people who made us feel at home. I’ll especially remember the conversations with dear brother Jawish, about Goa and his fishing experiences. I’d read the earlier reviews before booking, and the 5-star ones matched what we experienced. For me, Vagator means YELLOW HOUSE.

The rooms are clean, the beds really comfortable, and there’s AC if you want it. Rose and her son Jawish are such personable hosts and go out of their way to make the stay what you hope for. The place is quiet, peaceful, and secure, just a two-minute walk from the beach and close to lots of restaurants and bars. This was my second year at Yellow House. I stayed a month and enjoyed every minute again. I’ll be back for all of March 2026!

It’s a quiet, clean, and very safe spot, with its own security. The location makes exploring easy and gives you convenient access to some lovely sunsets. Rose and Jawish took such good care of us.
