The gardens and cottages have a lovely feel, and you can tell the owner cares about nature. I've stayed here several times now. The welcoming atmosphere, tasty food, and warm hospitality keep bringing me back, whether I'm traveling alone or with family or friends. It feels like home, and I'd happily recommend it.

The treatment and service were among the worst I've experienced. They didn't seem to know how to speak to or host guests.

I never visited the place, but the manager came across as arrogant. I called several times and got no answer. When we first spoke, he sent me photos of the resort and rooms. I tried to negotiate a little on WhatsApp, then he stopped responding and didn't even tell me the price wasn't negotiable. I would've booked at the same rate. Maybe the season brought him more business than expected. Anyway, my Chakrata trip went great. I stayed at deodar dream resort and everything went well.

Vikram (owner) guided us all the way and was really helpful. We came from Delhi and were pretty confused on the way, so his directions made a difference. It's a peaceful place if you need a break from hectic corporate life. The food was scrumptious and easy on the budget, and the staff were so polite and sweet. Go here if you want an authentic stargazing experience.
