The walks in the Himalayan forests can be as easy or demanding as you like, and the lodge sits in a picture-perfect location with no noise, air, or light pollution. Inside, it’s comfortable and clean, very much like a home away from home. The polite, well-mannered staff added a lot to our holiday. I’d happily recommend Barei Jungle Lodge.

The food was the cherry on top, and the staff’s hospitality and the lodge’s cleanliness were impressive. I was astonished that such a luxurious place could be tucked away in the wilderness, right in nature’s lap. When I first spotted the lodge from the hiking route leading to it, all I could say was “wow!” As a nature lover, I couldn’t ask for more. Skip the maddening tourist rush and have a Corona safe vacation here. Highly recommended!

The caring owners and designers have clearly thought through every detail. I’ve stayed here twice, and the trekking, ambience, solitude, comfort, and beauty are outstanding. The place leaves you with lasting memories.
