Hotel Hilldaar Dalhousie

Our stay was frustrating and didn’t feel worth the money. We booked two rooms for two days and had several maintenance problems: one toilet flush and exhaust fan didn’t work, the other room’s exhaust fan was also broken, and bathroom water flow was very poor. Room service was unreliable, with some calls unanswered. The tea we ordered was barely warm, and despite repeated requests, staff never replaced the old, partly used toilet tissue roll that looked like it had been left by a previous guest. We asked for normal drinking water, but only packaged mineral water was provided at first. Even after asking specifically for normal water, there was a long delay, followed by excuses that staff were busy elsewhere. Before arriving, we’d requested early check-in during online booking because the official check-in time was 1 PM. Staff confirmed 11 AM, but when we got there they wouldn’t honor it and made us wait until 1 PM. The hotel lacked proper maintenance, hygiene, professionalism, and timely customer service.

The location made it easy to head out, with Gandhi Chowk and the Mall Road shopping area close by. We spent 2-3 days at Treebo Hilldaar Hotel with family, and found the staff polite and the place welcoming. Our room was roomy, airy, and had a lovely view. The bed was comfortable, and the food, service, cleanliness, and ambience all worked well for us. It felt like good value for the comfort and location.

Rohit, the manager, made sure the hospitality was well looked after, and Abhi deserves a special thanks for taking such good care of us. We had a superb family stay. The rooms and washrooms were nicely furnished, the food was good, and the hospitality was at a high level. 😊🙏

The staff were prompt and courteous throughout, and the hotel's spot near the market was convenient. The rooms are good for a night or two. Food choices are limited, though, and the hotel should improve that. All in all, I had a good experience. Thank you.
