WelcomHeritage Jungle Home Pench

Changing rooms late into the night was exhausting. Till 2 am, guests were being moved because of geysers that didn’t work and door lock problems. Then there was the Great Dane wandering freely in the lobby. When I went downstairs for a morning walk, it suddenly chased me. I was startled and had nowhere to go, so I called my husband. He got housekeeping to handle the dog. No one had warned us that dogs were left loose or might attack someone they didn’t know. The dog was in attack mode, and I was terrified. This whole stay was mentally draining and left us with bad memories of pench. The place also felt chaotic, with loud speakers, liquor and no pool discipline. It seemed suited only to groups who don’t respect other guests’ privacy, and the staff didn’t seem concerned about keeping things in order. Guests handled the buffet food with their hands, including hands that had been in their mouths, which was truly unhygienic. Staff showed little care for hygiene or guest requests. We asked for the sweets to be refilled before dinner service had closed, but they rudely refused. Whether it was the food or the service, this was one of my most unpleasant stays. Jungle Home may be a brand in Tadoba, but this PENCH property was 1/10.

I had some doubts at first after reading a few reviews, but Sonam assured me the property had been renovated and those problems were no longer there. The rooms were clean, the food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and polite. It turned out to be a beautiful stay. Just go for it!

The food was AMAZING, and the staff were warm and hospitable throughout our lovely two-night stay. The manager was friendly and always available to help. We also appreciated the newly renovated, clean washrooms, strong shower pressure and hot water around the clock. The king-size bed was comfortable, and cleaning staff came every day. They use refillable glass bottles, which is a sustainable touch. They even arranged a lovely candlelight dinner for us. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Definitely recommend this property.

Waking up to jungle sounds and spending quiet evenings around the bonfire under the stars made our stay at WelcomeHeritage Jungle Home Pench unforgettable. The property has peaceful jungle views and a lovely balance of comfort and nature. The staff were warm and went out of their way to make us happy, never saying no to a request. The food was delicious, and they handled the safari arrangements smoothly and thoughtfully. Highly recommended for families and nature lovers who want welcoming service and a memorable stay.
