Hotel Kumar's

The bathroom wasn’t hygienic, the flush didn’t work properly, and there was no geyser, so we didn’t bathe. The blanket was dirty, the mattress and room were poor, and there wasn’t even a kettle. They also charged us three times as much because of a traffic jam when I visited recently. This place didn’t meet expectations.

The staff were awful. They take advantage when people are in an emergency, charging a lot for a very low-quality room.

We’d forgotten our jewellery and makeup box, which our daughter YANTRA had hidden in the cupboard inside a blanket as we were leaving. You know how important those things are to a woman. The hotel found them and promptly sent them back safely by courier. We’re so grateful, truly. It was an amazing experience, and we’ll always appreciate them.

At [hotel kumar Dalhousie], the location was convenient, but noise from outside made it hard to relax. The food options were limited and the quality was disappointing, and cleaning around the hotel wasn’t consistently up to standard. Staff interactions also fell short of the professionalism I’d hoped for. I’d been looking forward to the visit, so I hope they take this feedback constructively and work on these areas. There’s potential to give guests a much better stay.
