There was no breakfast buffet, despite what we expected from the booking, and the few options offered were poorly managed and disorganized. They also didn't provide complimentary water bottles, so we had to ask for or buy such a basic item. The lack of transparency, poor breakfast service, and missing amenity made the stay uncomfortable and left a bad impression. I wouldn't recommend this hotel or return.

24-12-2025 We arrived around noon with a group of six for lunch. The restaurant had no AC, so they told us to sit in the bar with our family, but the bar wasn't family-friendly at that time. At reception, a staff member stopped us when we tried to take a selfie and said we'd have to pay extra to take pictures on a phone. I really wonder about that. The reception staff were rude and treated us like trespassers. We even felt like kicking them. That's enough reason to reject this place.

At Vahada Hotel, Vandanam (Alappuzha), the restaurant AC wasn't working, and instead of finding us a proper place to eat, they directed us to the bar. That was very uncomfortable with family and children, and didn't feel family-friendly. Even before that, at the entrance, we were told not to take photos and that we'd have to pay to take pictures. It felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. The boy at reception was quite rude and didn't treat us gently. Not a pleasant visit, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The stay was good, but breakfast took over 30 minutes to arrive. The staff seemed to have trouble keeping the orders organized. The complimentary choices were quite limited, mostly dosa and poori masala. Not sure if the delay was a one-off.
