The property is beautiful and well maintained, in a spectacular location, but the day outing package didn't feel worth the price. We paid 1.7k per person for a welcome drink, lunch, pool and other amenities, paddle boats, games, a boat ride, and tea with snacks. The last stretch of the approach is a narrow, rough kutcha road, and they could have told us beforehand. The only restroom we could use, in the restaurant, was tiny, smelled awful, and had barely enough room to turn. A clean shared bathroom is the minimum for a resort. The meal had very few items and was very basic. There were no vegetarian starters, salad, soup, fish fry, or beverages, and only one dry item. They charged 30rs for bottled water even though the meal was advertised as food and beverages. If manpower or LPG shortages meant they couldn't provide their usual service, they should've informed us in advance. Food service was painfully slow, and the only person available seemed clueless and smelled bad. We'd ordered a birthday cake with tea, but he brought the snacks and tea first, and the snacks were getting cold while he forgot the cake. When he finally brought it, he didn't even take it out of the box. We'd paid 1.5k extra for it. The serving was so clueless, it was sad, and I felt sorry for him. Managers could have told us if they were short-staffed. They charge like a 4 star property but, despite the 4 star location, provide 2 star service.

The water was salty, whether brushing your teeth, showering, or using the pool, and the cottage toilets could use exhaust fans. The road to the resort is partly kutcha and only wide enough for one lane of traffic. Still, we had a great time with friends and family. We booked 3 lake-facing cottages with a beautiful view, enjoyed the delicious food, and used the play area and paddle boats. The friendly staff also arranged a complimentary boat ride.

The gardens are thoughtfully designed and well kept, and the location right beside the Backwater canal is the standout. There are also badminton and basketball courts, chess rooms, and a play area. It was a very good experience at a beautiful property. The rooms were clean and well maintained, but pretty small; with the space available, they could have been built bigger and made more premium. That didn't spoil the stay.

The views from the clean, neat rooms made it hard to leave, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to keep us comfortable. From the moment we arrived at Warmth Lake Haven Resort, everything felt warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay.

The AC still wasn’t working after I complained, and there were no signs or directions on the road. Staff behavior was poor, including a senior woman staff member using bad language. The restaurant manager and staff also treated clients very badly. Food quality and serving times were unsatisfactory. A very bad experience overall, and I strongly wouldn’t recommend staying there.
