The staff member handling our function booking was rude from the start, speaking as if he was being forced to deal with us. He later denied his own earlier commitment. The hospitality toward clients was horrible, and I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

The rooms didn't look as premium in person as they did in the photos. The service and location were just alright. If I came back and didn't have much time to find another hotel, I'd stay here again.

I arrived at 12:14 a.m. today, but the receptionist insisted he needed an online bill for June 10-11, even though my online booking showed a late-night check-in and I'd booked at 12:05 a.m. His language was poor, and he seemed uneducated. A very bad receptionist. I won't recommend this place.

I spent the last three weeks at The reef, and for this competitive price it was one of the best properties. Mr Vasudev, the overall in-charge, managed things very effectively and was humble and cooperative. The staff were well trained in hospitality and very good. My feedback on the stay is very good.

The food was very good, though the mushroom wasn't cooked properly.
