We stayed for a few hours before our flight. The AC worked well in the Chandigarh heat, and the helpers were polite, good, and quick. The rooms were poor and the bathroom horrible, so this was a very average hotel. The owner almost forces guests to leave a Google rating, but never has a smile, whether at check-in or check-out.

The room was arranged with care and had the things I look for as a hotelier: clean towels, a proper shower, soap and shampoo, plus a kettle and everything needed for tea. I felt at ease there throughout my stay. For anyone coming to Chandigarh, especially Sector 17, I’d happily suggest this place. It was a pleasant stay and I felt well looked after.

The front desk guys were friendly, and the room was spacious with an en-suite and an Emperor-size bed that was extremely comfortable. I was only passing through on the way from Amritsar to Shimla, but it was a good stay. The shower was tricky to balance between cold and scalding, and the floor got very slippery when wet.

I booked after trusting the reviews, but the stay was nothing like I expected. It was noisy and unsettling all the time, so peaceful sleep was out of the question. The facilities were very poor too, including no health faucet in the bathroom. I can't understand the high rating. Avoid this hotel.

The slow, unresponsive service added to our disappointment at Hotel Royal Park, Chandigarh. We had paid for a luxury room, but it didn't justify the price, especially with a broken commode. For accommodation advertised as luxury, that was unacceptable. It wasn't a good experience or worth the money.
