Hotel Preet felt calm and pleasant, with polite, helpful staff and facilities that were otherwise good. I was there for two days over New Year, and the location was convenient for getting around Chandigarh. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The only minor problem was no Wi-Fi during my stay. Everything else was satisfactory, and I’d recommend it for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay in Chandigarh.

The staff were good and the service was too, but the rooms were old and not very clean. There was no hanger in the bathroom, and the shower didn’t work properly.

The room looked much worse than the photos, and the bathroom wasn’t properly clean. Breakfast was poor quality with very few choices. On the second day the AC stopped working and there was a water leak. The front desk staff were rude and arrogant when I asked about room facilities, bookings, and service. I also saw the owner and hotel staff openly drinking alcohol in the lobby after 9:00PM. The location didn’t feel safe for a family, and it was a very poor experience. I wouldn’t recommend booking here with family. No recomendation.

There were caterpillar-like insects moving around the room, and it smelled bad as soon as we walked in. The bathroom was spacious but had no shower, hand jet, or basic clothes hanger. A really bad experience.

The room was okay for the price listed on the OYO app, but the owner first refused to accept an online booking. After a few minutes talking, they agreed to give me a room. Service was poor, though I guess that may be expected at this price. In winter there was no hot water, and the toilets didn’t even have water. I’d spend more for a decent room.
