The rooms are good, but the staff were very rude, especially the reception manager, who didn’t know how to treat customers. I was charged an extra 200 rupees on arrival, and the service was awful. My booking on Booking.com showed 945 rupees, and I’d told them I would arrive at 10 a.m. They said checking in before noon would cost 200 rupees because the room wasn’t ready. After I paid, they gave us a room, so why was there an extra charge if it was ready? After checking out, we booked another hotel that was much better. Don’t trust the misleading pictures and location.

We took a taxi to Country Inn and suites by Radission instead and had a lovely breakfast and a much better atmosphere. We lost about 800 rupees just to see this place, which I regret. We’d chosen it for its proximity to Chandighar airport, hoping to nap before traveling on the Himalayan Queen toy train from Kalka railway station. We arrived early in the morning to check in, but the neighborhood felt shady and the person at the counter was rude and unwelcoming. He demanded payment upfront even though our agreement was to pay at checkout. That made me suspicious, so I asked to see the room first. The room and building were awful, and the place felt scary and unsafe. Don’t be fooled by the online pictures, and don’t make the mistake of staying here.

It might work for a short wait before a flight or while picking someone up. There’s no mirror, no amenities, and no food service, and you can’t walk to or from the airport.

The staff were really cooperative, and my room was clean and spacious. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone.
