OYO 10384 Hotel Rajesh Palace

For what I paid after getting a good OYO offer, the stay was okay. The geyser wasn't working in December, though, and staff used my phone to rate the hotel on OYO without telling me. That was really unexpected. Aside from those two things, it was a good experience, which is why I'm reviewing it here.

It may suit someone looking for a cheap place just to spend the night, if room and service quality aren't a concern. The rooms were less clean than the pictures suggested, and the quality was below average. The price is low, so I gave it three stars, but for me it wouldn't merit more than two otherwise.

The hotel is in the Tyre Market in Sector 45A, which I found a good location, and Swiggy delivers to the room. I stayed five days. At Rs 591 per night including tax, the price was good, and they take Paytm and Google Pay, which made things a bit easier. Room 204 was the first one they gave me. It was cramped, a little dirty, and the OYO sheets looked old, as if they hadn't been cleaned. I saw one or two cockroaches, and there was no cupboard. The little drawers were dusty and not suitable for keeping things. The toilet was clean and the geyser worked. I asked to move to a larger room at the same rate because that size was shown in the OYO pictures at that price. Room 303 was bigger and cleaner, with a large bathroom, but it had no cupboard either and its geyser didn't work. I had to call room service whenever I wanted hot water. Room service was very slow at first. It got a little faster after day three, but only after I asked three or four times. Get mineral water or buy it outside. Their RO water comes in reused bottles. Please crush your bottles afterward. The drinking glasses in the room weren't clean, so avoid using them. If the geyser isn't working, tell room service 30 to 45 minutes ahead. The stay was okay overall. I gave four stars on OYO so the hotel could get a little extra benefit.

The staff were awful, including the manager. I was put in a place with broken beds and sofas, and left right away after seeing its condition in the middle of the night. The manager told OYO it was perfectly suitable to stay in, so OYO refunded only 20%. I strongly suggest not staying here.
