Oyo 18318 Cheema Farms

We stayed for two nights. It's a peaceful place with a good location, though a bit far from Chandigarh. The host and staff were all amazing. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a good budget stay.

The homemade meals are delicious and seem to be the hotel's only strong point so far. It's still under construction, and although you can book it through several websites, the service hasn't lived up to expectations. A few things to keep in mind: ask for the complimentary lavatory kit before checking in. The receptionist may charge for a complimentary water bottle, so don't pay for it. Confirm food prices before ordering, and ask for a bill if the MRP and the amount charged don't seem to match.

We had booked five rooms through oyo and paid online, but at midnight the receptionist argued with us for hours and refused to let us in unless we cancelled and paid him cash. He also charged us more than the booking amount. Only one of the five rooms had working AC. Another had no ventilation and smelled as if an animal had died in it, so we squeezed into four rooms while still paying for all five. A really bad experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Aman was so helpful. We were leaving early the next morning, and he even brought tea from his home for us. Loved the place, and I hope to stay again and catch up with him soon.
